Bella


This time 2 years ago you came to us.
We would say often how lucky we were you found us.


I would do almost anything for one more day with you.

You take my heart with you.

    Oh Carole, what happened? You only had Bella 2 years? Some of these animals really claim our hearts and it hurts like hell when they go. I know that pain you're feeling, I truly do.

    It is not easy to be a part from your pet with whom you took care for 2 years. Acceptance is all you need. Accept the fact that nothing is permanent.

    Oh Carole,
    I'm so sorry to hear that you have lost your dear and precious Bella. I know exactly how you feel. We had three cats and, I can remember how awful it was when they went. I always thought that I would be sad but sad just doesn't say how I felt. I think of our cats daily.....they were such a massive part of our family as Bella was in ours.

    I am new here and while normally I might lurk for a bit, I felt the need to reach out to you. I am so sorry that you have lost your Bella. Being a serious lover of cats and having one that looks a lot like Bella, my heart goes out to you. I lost Arwen back in February and she too was black and a rescue. She was only seven and I was devastated. And then I read that Bella was only two....I cannot imagine...so I send you hugs of comfort. You will be in my thoughts....

    So sorry to hear about Bella. It really is so heartbreaking when they go. Some months ago I had to put my outside Sweet Kitty to sleep and it really did me in for a while there.     When I lost my Amy earlier this year, a wise friend comforted me by saying,

    "We do not choose our pets, they are chosen or us. They come to us when we need them.

    "They pass on because they know there is another pet who needs us, and they leave the door open on their way out."

    I offer this image of love and hope to somehow ease your grief. Many of us have been in your shoes, and we know how you feel.

    oh dearest carole, i am so very sorry for the loss of your family member. bella reminds me of our beloved deja, who is gone now too. i visited the post by sharon and oh my, did that ever touch me..........

    Carole- we have a male kitty who could be Bella's twin- his name is Sooty. He showed up at our door horribly wounded and gravely ill. We nursed him back to health and he has also captured our hearts. I am so sorry that you lost your dear precious kitty. We truly love kitties- and I understand your loss. I'm just so sorry--
