Seems I’ve been absent from the blog world……again.
though I have been thinking of you and this little blog of mine quite a lot.
Getting any screen time has been difficult but I’ve enjoyed being
outdoors and watching the season progress.
Seems when I have more to share, I have no time to tell you about it.
Isn’t that just the way it is sometimes?
Seems like ages ago when we had these pansies, now we only have a few left.
Only the yellow ones.
Doesn’t anyone like yellow anymore?
The daffodils where better then ever this season. I dug up more 2 years ago
and moved them around and they are filling in well.
The early heat this spring made them come on sooner then normal.
I was worried they would go by too fast but thankfully
we went back to normal temperatures so they stayed around longer.
The last 2 days have been like summer weather.
This is the strangest Spring I can remember.
Winter one day Summer the next : )
As some of my other daffs are ending my Thalia daffs are just coming in.
The whitest of all daffodils and not overly tall.
Of course we can’t forget the poppies.
Do you have a favorite spring flower???

Hi
Your spring flowers are so wonderful and have a happy note to them. I love those white daffodils. Poppies not so much :)
My yard is a mess, really needs a cleaning up and no time...
I hope this finds you well
Blessings
Rebecca
OK, so the Thalia Daffodils look so stikingly similar to my favorite from back home...the Columbine. Happy week, Carole - beautiful shots! XOXO
Oh such a magnificent display of pretty pansies and the cheerfulness of the yellow and white daffodils. You have a couple of gorgeous daffodils Carole which I love - the yellowed centres and white petals and the same but frilled.
Not to mention those complete white Thalias - they are stunning.
You have some gorgeous results for all of your very hard efforts - well done!
I hope you have a completely successful Spring!
Hugs from some lovely Autumnal sunny days downunder,
Suzy
Love the white daffs and poppy..oh yeah..I like white...duh

We can't really grown daffodils here very well, so I'm loving your pictures! I figured you were busy, busy in the greenhouse.
I love the colors of the pansies...they are one of my favs. The white daffodils are spectacular!
I think I need to go to the nursery tomorrow....
Happy Growing,
Susie
I love your thalias, and yes I'm the one person out there who still loves yellow. ;) My poppies are not up yet but I hope they will be soon.
Hi Carole,
Isn't Spring the best ? I was driving in the countryside yesterday and the blossom, new lime green leaves and lush green and yellow fields looked beautiful.
I love those white daffs. Most of our daffodils are finished now. We are off to Amsterdam on Monday so, the tulip fields should look a picture. Will take photos for a post. Trouble is, it looks like it's going to be raining much of the time !! Never mind, I'm sure it will be lovely, whatever the weather. XXXX
The flowers are beautiful Carole especially those nearly white daffs.
Hope you're enjoying the crazy Spring weather.

Hi Carole! I love them all! My lilacs are just starting to bloom, Hannah found a bleeding heart blooming and brought it inside right away to put in a vase :) Today I get to live in your world, I am helping a friend who owns a greenhouse get ready to open next week! I can't wait to get my hands dirty and help plant some flowers! t.xoxo
Hi Carol!
I must agree, this has been the weirdest Spring ever!
I had lilacs in early April! And today I noticed my peony bust is in bloom!
I never have peonies until late May!
OH well, Just enjoy I guess!
I love all of your pictures..I love pansies...they just make me smile!
Have a great rest of the week!
hugs from here

picking a favorite is very difficult...but I would have to say one of them would be bluebells...
love those Thalia...I don't have those!
enjoy your day Carole :)
The photos are so beautiful!!!! Here in South Florida my amaryllis has just bloomed. Stunning. Guess here we consider that a spring flower.......
Best, Lisa
At least when you're away from here you are in a beautiful place!! I cannot get poppies to grow...arg. I love them and there decorative dried seed pods.
Look at all those BEAUTIFUL pansies!!
What beautiful photos Carole!! I have got to get some of those white daffodils. I wrote down the name so I can look for them. They are the purest white!!! My daffs are up out of the ground about three inches so it will be a little while yet. But my forsythias started to bloom yesterday.
Your beautiful post was just what I love to see in the morning. I don't think I have to ask if you are enjoying your Spring : )
sending love...
Hi Carole, such beauty in your work! We have had the same crazy Spring! I love the Thalia daffs and will try to find them here,as we have so many squirrels, tulips are out of the question. All our blossoms are out, normally we have that around Mother's Day, My favorite Spring flower is the bleeding heart, I have some white ones which I love....they are not quite blooming as yet...Nxo
I LOVE your white daffodils, dear Carole- and the white poppy, too- I`m one not much glad for yellow flowers, and never buyes them- or plant them in the garden-well only the first daffodils are allowed to be yellow :-) here. They belongs to spring. loving all white and pink,I guess
tulips are my favorite spring bloom.
Hugs,Dorthe
Those white daffodils are just beautiful! They are my new favorite spring flower...never seen them before!
Those pansies and daffodils are just gorgeous. I love spring flowers.
I agree, it has been a strange spring. It seems like when went directly from winter to early summer.
I love some of your unusual daffodil varieties, so pretty! And I'm envious of your poppies, I should really plant some of those! I love almost all of the spring flowers, I don't think I could pick just one as a favorite.
Kat
The flowers are beautiful!!... how are you making out with the "new addition"?....
I missed out on pansies except for just a few late in the season. I planted one pale pink poppy like flower last summer and now I have 150. Take care and hugs, olive
Just for the record, I bought yellow pansies. I mixed them in with pink. This year I'm all about pink in the garden.
I'm loving those white daffs! So, so pretty! It's coming up on your busy season isn't it. Guess we won't be hearing from you much over the next few months. It must feel good to be back in the greenhouses with your hands in the dirt!
Your greenhouse looks gorgeous! I wish we were close enough to you to "go for a ride"! Maybe this summer :)
Gorgeous photos Carole!
Those white daffs are so perfect! Love the red poppy too.
Yes, my favorite spring flower is the lilac...and my Mom's lilacs are the prettiest of all.
Miss you....don't wear yourselves out there working too hard.
Hugs, Laura :)
Hi Dear Carole
Well I have to say I love those pansies.. my dad used to plant pansies around the front of our childhood home.. the black ones!! so I always have a soft spot for them,.. sweetpeas too.. and gardenias.. ok.. i'll stop..
So.. take it easy over there.. i know this is your busiest time but got to look after yourself!! George too!!
Ok.. have great weekend ciao xxx Julie
This past month I bought some pansys. I love those little hardy flowers. They have done well. I will be getting more of them. Smiles, Susie(She Junks)
Just lovely!! We HAVE had a strange spring (and here in PA back to winter for a day or two ~blah!) but like you said it really has extended the blooming time. I love all your pretty pictures and wish your sweet store was closer. My favorite spring flowers are violets and forget-me-nots. Lucky for me they run rampart in my yard!
Have a wonderful week ~ Jenn
