When I think of this blogger.
One of the first things that comes to mind is
Family!
Her blog is called
612 Riverside
This is where she makes a home
for her husband and children.
Her number one priority.
In her spare time she loves creating.
Whether using materials from fabric, paper or objects
found at the fleamarket she manages to
whip it up into something delightful,
interesting and always beautiful.
Recently I was the lucky
recipient of some of her

Recently I was the lucky
recipient of some of her
lovely handmade goods in a giveaway.
All beautifully and creatively wrapped.
The vintage card from the 50's (though I think
these might have come
from a company that makes reproductions of them)
I have the card at home....wish I had the name for you.
I blog from work but
don't tell my boss!
Just kidding
BIG C for me!
Now the actual giveaway was this wonderful lavender
laundry soap that I have to say makes
doing laundry like a walk in a french lavender field.
It's gentle enough for fine linens and only uses a small
amount....1 tablespoon per front loader.
You can find it in her Esty shop HERE
Isn't that incredible?
The other part of the giveaway was this lovely handmade dryer
sheet that Theresa sewed from a vintage bed sheet.
She has a true love of recycling that I adore about her.
She does all she can to not only keep things out
of the landfill but tries to live her life with as
little impact to the environment.
She's my kind of girl.

Now to my huge surprise and delight she also sent me
this notepad covered
in this beautiful vintage backcloth trimmed with lace
and button to close.
Tucked in the lace is an old photograph of two friends
with their arms wrapped around each other.
I'd like to think that's the two of us...
except I'm the better looking younger one.
Just kidding Theresa.
Awhile back she had bought some wool blankets
and sweaters to felt.
I commented to her that I had spent hours at
GoodWill one day looking for
sweaters made of 100% wool to felt also.
I thought I'd have an easy time of it.
I searched out every label to find that most of them were
blends of some type or other.
I looked at so many that after what felt like hours I was able
to just feel them briefly and just move on.
Now there's a TALENT ladies!
The mellow yellow blanket piece reminds me of one
we still use on our bed.
It belonged to my parents.
And though it's old and the edges are a little tattered
it's the one I love the most.
It keeps me warmer then any other blanket we've ever had.
I would never cut it up.
Now I don't need to because Theresa
was kind enough to share hers with me.
Thank you Theresa not only for the lovely gifts
but for your friendship.
I want to show you some of the cute pumpkins
Theresa's been making
I call them Bling Bling Pumpkins.
aren't they cute?
This is the big Momma Pumpkin
She's just gotten a big order to bring to
a local gift shop.
But if you wanted one of your very own
you can order one
Happy shopping!
