Spring ever changing

Just a quick note to say hi and to tell you how much I have missed all of you.
It's been over a week since my last post.
Easter day actually.
It seems so long ago and so much has happened.

These pictures are from that day. It was later in the afternoon by the time I

got around to remembering to take a picture of our weeping cherry.

The sun was just going down and the light had a certain soft grayish glow that the

camera picked up but my eyes did not.

Funny how that happens.

By the end of the week the blossoms were just a memory.
The heat we had,
though an unexpected delight did
shorten the life span of the flowers.
Happy I had taken the time to capture them in their prime.

Now my time at home and any spar time is also not what it was....

but the trade off is that I get to witness the birth of Spring and all that comes with it.
I am so lucky to work outside and get to see it ever changing.
Though I may not be able to go far these days.
A simple trip to the post office is an adventure! haha
I'm content to just staying put!

GURRREAT Photos.

The weeping cherry is so lovely and delicate- love the branches, that taupey colored bark.

We all do miss you-but we know you are so busy, Make sure you wear lots of sunscreen!

Hi Carole,

Thank you for these gorgeous glimpses of Spring. You must be extremely busy, but quite content to be surrounded with such beauty.

Carole amor, what beautiful pictures, I am going to have to share these with my eldest daughter, she loves sherry blossoms, and bought herself a cherry tree that she planted with her dad right in our front yard...this is the second year...and the first year she had 2 blooms, this year about 8...who knows maybe next year a whole branch worth :) I tease her about it, but she loves that lil twig..err I mean tree :) Have a beautiful week seeing all these gorgeous plants come into bloom amor :) You have been missed! Hi Carole, The pictures are beautiful! I love blooming fruit trees. They always look so pretty and it's a shame that it doesn't last longer than a few days. We are still waiting here for the trees to bloom. Due to the long winter we have a delay of about 3 weeks or so.

Julia

Oh! What lovely pics of nature and I love what you've done with them. Now's a great time to work outside, except for the pollen, of course. Hope it doesn't bother you.

Gorgeous shots, Carole, and the one with the digi-overlay is stunning! When do you start publishing your magazine? :)
Glad you are able to enjoy the beauty. The snow has receded here and I can see my little wildflowers - smashed flat and brown, but in a couple of weeks there will be tiny green delights everywhere.
Thanks again for the JDA magazine - I'm enjoying it very much!
Hugs,
Zuzu
