White Wednesday!!!

I can't believe it's been a week since my last post!!! I've missed all you guys so much. I've only been able to visit a few of you since Thanksgiving but please know how much I've appreciated your comments of support. I feel a little like that bad friend that doesn't return your phone calls:))) Just when I want to share more there's no time left in the day. After this next weekend things should start to calm down a little.
Last Saturday it rained like crazy all day so it was slower. My poor husband and his help out in the rain like drowned rats. He never complains though. On Sunday the sun came out and we were really busy so that was great and my help kept up wonderfully.

I made this flower from a package of vintage petals I got from Tinsel Trading. I thought it might give people the idea to use them for their gift packages. Pretty easy and you can dress it anyway you want. I think my favorite part of gift giving is the decorating the box....don't you?

The last few years I've really gotten into more glass ornaments. I love the way it catches the light and adds to the ethereal feel of the store.
I'm surprised I don't break more of it.

I can be a klutz. When someone brings a glass ornament to the counter I'm afraid I'll break it and then finding out it was the last one.....opps sorry!

result: Unhappy customer!

Mushrooms are another obsession!

Silver.... and not actually white but it reflex whatever it's near.

Look who I found. I was wondering why every morning this tree was knocked down. One of the other cats had taking Crickets usual sleeping area.

Always having to end my post with another gratuitous cat picture. Can't help myself.

Please go visit our sweet hostess Kathleen at Faded Charm and all the other participants of White Wednesday.
Hope you're all enjoying the festivities of the holiday season.

Peace

Carole

Hi, Carole!
Your photos are always so beautiful! And mine are especially poor this week ....
Anyhoo, I LOVE the pageant ribbon on the snowlady! So cute! And those corkscrews icicles ... are they glass? YUM!
So glad I stopped by for a visit before heading to bed. Now I can include your lovely shop in my dreams!

Hi Carole,
Although we miss you loads, I'm so pleased that you are busy and selling lots of stuff and becoming millionaires !!!! Seriously, I hope that you are doing well.I want to come and buy things. It all looks so beautiful, twinkly and sparkly.
You're not the only one who breaks things. Every year, whilst decorating the tree and house, you can hear the breaking of baubles, all aroung our house and me swearing !!!!.....and it's always the prettiest ones that break.
I shall be decorating our tree this weekend so there will be the sound of baubles meeting the floor in our street this weekend !!
Have a lovely week Carole and don't work too hard. XXXX

Hi Carole!
Now I'm getting excited! I recognize a similar beautiful ornament that Paula bought me at your shop last year (first photo) and that funky white skinny tree that I bought myself! I am looking forward to visiting the shop on Friday and giving you a big hug! It all looks fabulous!
Take care, Laura

HI Carole
Well I feel less guilty about not visiting as much as I would like.. seems you are flat out also.. and poor George too..

So... I love all these gorgeous ornaments.. do you think you could come to Sydney and decorate my place? Wouldn't worry about the breakage...it's a familiar sound around here... especially when I am reaching for the alarm clock!!

Now my favourite this time is the Snow Queen.. she reminds me of me with that shapely figure!! My post winter, post project figure!! hehe

Take care my friend and glad to hear business is thriving!! xxx Julie

Lovely. I so want to buy some glass ornaments this year...but I can just tell that Julie the Cat is not going to cooperate. She has a devilish glint in her eye. And is sitting in a pile of fairly lights at the moment. (unlit). Off to buy LED strings this afternoon. And nothing wrong with ending a post with a cat - EVER.

Love all your photos once again Carole. very dreamy. I'm liking that we don't have any rain lately, but it is darn cold out! I'm thinking Christmas in Hawaii sounds nice about now, don't you?

Take care and warm.

What a great post again, dear Carole! Your wonderful ornaments, the funny-cat-picture, the sweet white girls on the first photo and so on - I love them! Don't worry that you don't have so much time for Bloggetonia at the moment - we all know this problem in Christmas-time. So it is not neccessary to stress yourself, one day you will have more time and you will "return our phone calls" ;-)
Hugs and warm regards, Traude

Hi Carole! Everything is so beautiful. I wish I could find one of those tiny angels with the gold wings here. I bought one last year for Heather and have kicked myself ever since for not buying one for myself. If I remember correctly, the little gold wings move. Oh well...

Don´t feel guilty , for not having enough time to come and visit. I think we all are a bit busy, right before christmas.

I love your butterfly, it´s gorgeous.

Super yummy Christmas ornaments, I especially love the silver. Oh, and as Debra so eloquently put it, the gratuitous cat spotting!

I think this time of year we're all "bad" bloggy friends, if you define bad as being busy with the holiday rush and devoting time to family. If you don't get around to visiting everybody for a week, we understand! We still love you!

Carole your photos are always so lovely and I can't seem to get enough of them. I always look forward to you posting, because I know it's going to be great. I am like you in that I love a beautifully wrapped package. I don't care what's inside if it's wrapped up in a loving way.
I love all the beautiful ornaments, but my faves are the ones with the overlays of lace.
