Flocked tree day 2

As I was taking pictures this morning. I realized that I never turned this tree on yesterday.
I knew something was "off" no pun intended.
I just couldn't figure it out. I kept saying it looks so dark. Not that this tree is that big....it sits on the opposite wall from my counter.
I usually light little things with remote control switches which I love. No more bending over or croutching underneath things to bring the place to life....

well except for this little tree.

I think she's worth it.

or he???

On another note my friend Sharon shared with me
that my header was coming off the page.
I never knew that and immediately changed it.
It looked normal to me it but I had noticed that when I used the town libraries computer headers they would be cut quite dramatically.
It sounds weird but I don't remember if mine was one of them?

Do you see headers chopped off on other blogs???

I need a new header soon....
I think fields of flowers need to go.

would you like to see a snow scene?

Too early?
(I think so too)

Oh Carole, I'd love to come visit your store, it looks magical! Love the idea of one photo a day, your flocked tree is so pretty. Your header is fine on my computer. different sizes of monitors I guess. It's always looked lovely, but snow is on the horizon, might as well get us ready for it! xoxo

Love the flocked tree. I think a snowy header would be perfect. I never have quite figured out exactly how big to make my header. But yes, I have seen others that are too big. More yummy pics. of your beautiful shop, please!!

Hey Carole...love the flocked tree. I had flocked trees for quite a few years back in the day. I'm thinking that might be fun this year...hummmm!

I can't ever seem to get my header just right. It's either too big or too small. Guess I'll have to tune into the 'Goldilocks' in me to get it just right.

Keep up the pics....I always look forward to your photography.

Have a great Thanksgiving,
Susie

Hey Carole
I love your tree.. beautiful.. just wish I could come over and see the shop in person!.. Well your header has always been fine my way... but then I have a widescreen mac... I like the idea of one shot at a time.. been toying with that idea myself.. instead of doing nothing as I can't decide which shots should go with which..

As for a snow scene? bring it on!! It's still my dream to see a white xmas.. the closest I'll get is your blog!! hehe..

Have a great week./ ciao xxx Julie

It certainly is not to early for a snow scene. Other bloggers seem to be posting holiday things so why not!

I LOVE that tree! Today my husband and I went tree shopping and it did not go well. I picked out a 'slender' tree that I really liked, as I don't want to take anything out of the living room when we set it up. He hated everything I picked. Needless to say we are still barely speaking though I have no idea why. I've asked, he won't answer.

Anywho, I have the perfect spot for that tree! Now I just need to make the trip to RI ; )

Scotty, Please beam me over to Carole's shop! Hello, Scotty, can you hear me??? Darn! This guy never seems to listen to me. You really keep us in suspense with one picture a day. The tree is fabulous and I'm looking forward to all the other great Christmas insights of your shop.
Maybe you could use one of the shop pictures for your winter header?
Have a great Monday, dear Carole!

Julia

Your header is perfectly sized for my screen..but I have been to blogs that don't "fit" sideways. That's a little frustrating when I have to keep sliding the thingy at the bottom.
I have a soft spot for flocked trees...and all the mess that comes with 'em. They are so worth it.
Deb
P.S. Bring on the snow...just not at my house.

Btw, yes I do know you live in CT not RI. I was having a geography lapse there for a moment ; )

Carole, the flocked tree is stunning. Your shop must be perfectly dreamy. I really should flock some pine cones as I only have a million in my yard. Your header did not fit for me but it does now. A snowy header would be great especially for me as that might be as close as I get to it. I need to get busy and re-do much of my entire blog but the net two weeks involve so much travel I do not see how. Happy Thanksgiving ♥ Olive

Well, I guess I never noticed, but I thought your header was fine on my computer...probably lack of glasses that did that! :-) LOVE the flocked tree...was telling Z the other day that I wish I had the huge, beautiful aluminum tree that my folks had in the 60's...with the color wheel - psychedelic! Probably what affected my eyes, all these years later. LOVE the barn up there, too! Happy Tuesday, Carole.
