New York City is always exciting to visit even before you get to the show.
Unfortunately I won’t have much time to visit the city
since I’m only going for one day.
This is my first time going to the gift show without
hubby by my side so I hope I keep it together.
He’s good at keeping me from losing all my “stuff”
you know pocketbook, credit card, cell phone, invoices, catalogs, camera..etc.
I’m absent minded like that.
ask anyone that’s shopped with me : )
So much to carry around and no carts allowed.
I have to have a plan of attack so I can use my time wisely and keep the walking to a
minimum.
It will be good to see if I’m in better shape this time of year then when I went in the Winter.
I just want my feet to hold up.

Good luck... one thing I don't miss about the shop and that is the trade shows, never liked going to them! Talk about work and sore feet!

Maybe this will distract you a little bit, dear Carole. I know you'll find lots of cool stuff for your shop and I'll get all excited when I look at your blogpost when you show everything. With this weather we had this summer I already get into the Christmas mood which normally never happens to me in August.

I can feel the energy! Great shots. My family did retail for years and the trade shows can be exciting and tiring. Hope you at least enjoy a great meal.

I love the glimpse of the city...very neat for a rural Nebraska gal. I got to visit for 5 weeks when I was in college. A long time ago I realize now. :)
