What, you want to buy those? day 3

Oh yeah I forget sometimes that it's there to sell.

Silly me only bought 6 of those fences.
I took this picture the night before we opened. I was so tired and really wanted to go straight to bed so I told myself I would only
be 5 minutes.
Well my camera was being temperamental...it's been off and on not wanting to auto focus so after hearing it make that sick noise for too long I finally tried
manual focus, hence the sub par photo.

As you can see I do some cutesy too.

I sold 3 fences this afternoon so before they are all gone I thought I'd show them. I have the others somewhere else.
Out of all the things in here I don't know why I'm so taken by these.
I know many of you have booths and shops.....are there things that you feel a little sad when they go?

I also had a great big angel in the middle of where some of my glass ornaments hang from. That went on the first day.

I was happy but a little sad......it looked so good there surrounded by all the clear and sparkly bobbles.

I know I'm crazy!

ok George is wondering why I'm not making up cedar
bundles:) and on the computer instead!

thank you for all the great comments.

I decided to put up a new header....one you may have seen in a post before.
I actually have very few good snow scene photos....( except pumpkins with snow on them from our last storm)
I'll have to work on that this season.

Ok a bundling I go.........

You are fast, I like instant snow headers upon request being as I never get snow. I just told Joe we must flock and he said "Do what?" The fencing is adorable and does set the scene. Now that I sell items, in three stores, I know what you mean about letting go the the good stuff especially when you set up the display.

LOVE the new header- jealous of CT.

Your sub par photos beat my best ones on a good day lol and the displays are beautiful. I am so anxious to see more. I know you are not taking requests but Cody Foster please, and a broad room shot and an exterior through the window and then maybe you could "spin" some Kenny Rankin for me. Haha I am too far away to smack.. :D

Those fences are darling, its no wonder you want to keep them. Your shop vignettes make me want Christmas decor at my house and I'm usually late getting everything up... not this year!

Just stumbled upon your blog and happily scrolled through the pages. Having lived in Salem, Bozrah and Norwich, it was great to see your photos of SE CT!! Now in VA will continue to follow your beautiful blog!

What a beautiful photo. What is it about white picket fences that is so charming? And these ones, with the snow on them, just call out Home Sweet Home :)

So cute! I used to do the same thing. Order something and then wonder why I didn't get two dozen! And it does kinda stink when someone messes up your cute "play house." It's so much fun to create those perfect little vignettes.

Whew! Almost a panic here....having stumbled in and seeing a barn!!! Thought purrhaps that I'd missed many days of mousing here, you know with the red barn and all....but I see I am not late and that indeed I have not lost too many days away. Yes, yes, love barns...need to do a post on this topic...still there is nothing so welcoming as a snow covered barn. Well and a mouse or two inside to chase.

Not as important to me, but certainly to "her" loving the vignettes and all the Christmas goodness. Flocking - oh yes, got that fever here too, but for some reason it is not as plentiful in the stores as in previous years. I guess they are behind the times ;) Like Z, we are anxious to see more pictures purrlease!!!! Those bundles can wait. I think that purrhaps maybe you would have to do them on the porch right? And I'm wondering if the porch is um....better now? George??! MOL Yep, I'm on your side - more pictures, yes, yes, yes!

Okay, gotta run before you charge me space rental for this post.....

Purrs and hugs

Romeo and "her"

Love your new header. I don't have a booth, but I know it's hard to part with certain items, and often I don't even know why :)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Blessings,
Marcia

I guess that's why I can't have a shop, I would have serious problems letting go things that I love and things out of my displays and of course I'd be my best customer ha ha
So no, you're not crazy at all!
Love the fences too though!
Happy Tuesday Carole!

Your new header is beautiful, Carole. That't the way I like snow the best - on pictures, hahaha.
I'm not amazed that the fences sell so well. They are great! I also love the Santa, the white bottle brush trees and the glittered letters. Your customers are so lucky!
Happy Tuesday :-)!

Julia
