Black and White Sunday

We often say
"when I die I want to coming back as one of my cats." They do seem to have the life!!!! Sleeping more then 18 hours a day.
( our boys-Shaggy,Romy and Jelly)
But lets face it we're the lucky ones. I can't imagine this place without them. It seems so natural to have them here. Many times people will come up and tell us that they just saw one of our cats then another, then another and then another. We have 7!!!!....all born here except for Charlotte...who you've met before.

We stopped having any new kittens years ago.
It was always such a joy to have kittens around watching them hop, skip, tumble all over the place learning to test their strengths and limitations.

....but having them mature and learn to get along with each other has been just as joyous.

Seeing them give each other little signs of kindness is so touching and sweet.
It's something we should all learn from them.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me introduce you to my little furry family and of course.....
Thank you Anne Marie for hosting
Black and White Sunday!!!

Wonderful images and little kitties Carole! Your ginger one looks like my childhood cat re-incarnated! You are right how they are kind and giving to each other. I think blogging has given me that also. Finding lovely friends like you! Great post!

Oh Carole...what adorable photographs , and stunning in black and white...you have brought back many memories for me...we ended up with three cats ( very long story ) The first was a ginger tom who was the best cat ever, then two brothers one grey, the other, a peach colour and they were such great company and so funny. They have all gone now...the peach one died last year..and I can't tell you how upset I was...that's why I'm not having any more animals..it really does get to me....it doesn't matter which animal..dog, cat, budgerigar, hamster, rabbit, they become part of the family and it is so sad when they go ....anyway, enough of the miserable talk...your photographs are wonderful and it has been lovely looking at them. Thank you so much.....OOooooo and wasn't Julies AMAZING ? Sorry for such a long comment..I can't help it !!! XXXX

So . . Nigella has family members. They are so sweet to one another, Carole. I've never had cats, just dogs. But I think you've inspired me to think about adopting one some day.
