White Wednesday

Welcome to White Wednesday hosted by Kathleen of Faded Charm
Welcome to my home!!

Just kidding!
I wish!
What I'm not kidding about is that as I got to the end of this post and the whole thing disappeared.
Yup!
I thought that the post might have still been saved but NO!!!
so this will be the quick version!!!
or pared down few words version!!

Earlier today I hurt my left index finger so typing is a bit difficult.
Nothing serious just a sewing machine accident. Let me just say I recommend not putting your fingers by the needle thingy......haha!
you hear of people who get drawn to the motion of a spinning blade.......maybe that's what happened!
I don't know???

Anyways I hope you forgive me this time. If you have any questions about any of the plants you see let me know.

I should tell you that this was taken at a wholesale nursery this Fall. I thought seeing a little green would be a welcome change now that we're in the middle of Winter.....many of you have had torrential rains also. It's been a very strange winter so far.
But better days are ahead!

Thanks again for stopping by!!!!
Don't forget to visit Kathleen and the other participants of White Wednesday!
XO
Carole

Oh Carole,
My heart skipped a beat when I thought that was your house. I had almost booked a flight to come and stay.!! Kidding aside, I'm sure that your home is gorgeous too.
I love your White Wednesday. It is the promise of things to come. I'm not sure what plant is making a carpet of white in the greenhouse but it looks beautiful and are they two different types of Clematis in the first three photographs of flowers ? I can't wait for the Spring to arrive and the promise of some beautiful plants. XXXX

All that white and green makes me ache for spring, but since all I got now is aching from the cold...maybe it will help to warm me up on the inside!

Carole amor, awww see why I run in fear of my sewing machine...nuff said right lol Oh my stars what a gorgeous home, I wish it was yours err mine :) that white Clematis in that 3rd picture is sooo gorgeous, do you know the name??? I have never had a white one...well I did but when we left for a few months...my mom thought it was dead and didn't water it...then tossed it...it was dormant lol ouch! I loved it too, did I mention she threw out my light purple one too and my white wisteria...I know...it was a very sad year for me :) I have yet to replace them and that was in 2000...I guess I hold grudges huh :) All your whites were beautiful this week, incl. that white picket fence I would love around my yard :) Besos, Rose

Hi Carole! So sorry about your sewing mishap! Lovely flower photos! I planted some Clematis in front of my house.. Did pretty well last year.. I have it on a trellis behind a fountain birdbath.. It did not appreciate the water splashing on it at all.. The pump finally died & I have not yet replaced it..The Clematis vine really took off after not being splashed with all that water! We had to take down a couple of trees recently so my yard will get a bit more light.. I think I will try some new plants & flowers this year instead of just Hosta's...

Thanks for sharing! Cant wait to see more!

Big Hugs ~ Teresa

Love your 'pretend' house. Mine is very similar...definitely old and white. Thanks for the tour of the nursery and lovely flowers. What is the variety of the white echinacea? I just love it! I had ordered a lime green variety last spring which did okay here in Florida....they just perform as annuals here unfortunately.

Well, gotta get back to work.

Hi Carole
Oh how I needed that...the sun was out this morning for no more than a minute and now it is snowing. We haven't had sun here in quite awhile. OK buck up - sorry I got whiney for a second. Loved your white post today- thank you for the inspiration!
Blessings
Rebecca
PS I hope your finger is better...made me laugh, not because you're hurt but I got in trouble when I was a little girl for playing nurse with my cousin and told him - he needed a shot and to put his finger under the sewing machine...yup I sewed it. He was a couple years older than me too!

Carole,
I had to catch up to you too! So much to see. 1st of all, love your WW. I can smell the jasmine & gardenia from here! Your closet organizer thingy is magnificent! I'm so into anything textile & patchy. I love the random-ness of it. And your friend Franny, OMG I am a new follower for her. Very talented lady. Lisa
